After Jane Birkin passed away a few months ago. Miu Miu Spring 2024 show honored Jane with the Miu Miu distressed leather bags which were overstuffed to play with the image of the Birkin bag, which has been traditionally seen as prim and proper. Jane Birkin broke that image of the bag being prim and proper and threw it around with no worry about its monetary value and attaching charms and activist messaging to it.
